Happy Science After Work with BBQ and great energy

Medicon Village

Yesterday, happy villagers and neighbours from the surrounding area gathered for the final Science After Work before the summer break. The Japanese Garden, our new outdoor terrace at Inspira, was officially inaugurated on stage, and Niklas Sellin, Construction Project Manager at Medicon Village, took the opportunity to present the upcoming remodelling of the Inspira event venues this summer. With new flooring, wall finishes and furniture, as well as improved acoustics and ventilation systems, the Inspira event spaces will offer even better opportunities for networking, meetings and conferences.

Lund's city historian Peter K. Andersson was interviewed on stage by Medicon Village’s Petter Hartman about the new exhibition at Inspira, “Lund – A Thousand Years of Innovation”. The exhibition showcases historical innovations from Lund and has been produced by Kulturen and Medicon Village, and is currently on display at the Inspira Gallery Wall.

The business and scientific highlight of the event was Petter Hartman’s interview with special guest Carin Landsmer, Director of Cardiovascular Disease at Novo Nordisk, focusing on Novo Nordisk’s involvement in prevention and health, as well as Nordic life science competitiveness.
