Medicon Village continues to thrive as a vibrant hub for professionals, researchers, and innovators in the field of life science. With a remarkable surge in events and attendees this year, Medicon Village is proving to be the nucleus of life science discussions, collaborations, and innovation – well in line with its mission to be the natural meeting place where research, innovation, and societal development meet to benefit human health and society.
Growing Numbers
From January to mid-September this year, an impressive 30,700+ individuals have gathered at Medicon Village for various meetings and events, showcasing a significant increase compared to the 27,000 attendees from April to December in 2022. These numbers underscore the growing importance of Medicon Village as a gathering point for the life science community.
Medicon Village’s Event Platform as a Key Motor
A driving force behind this surge in attendance is Medicon Village’s robust event platform, which has been instrumental in attracting more than 10% of the total attendees. This dynamic platform serves as a catalyst for networking, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.
Over the past nine months, Medicon Village has organised more than 70 events in collaboration with various stakeholders, drawing over 3,000 participants. These events encompass a wide spectrum, ranging from focused thematic networks in areas such as Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Writing, and Administration, to innovative commercial event concepts like ’Science for Breakfast,’ ’Science for Lunch,’ and ’Medicon Village Academy.’
These specialised events provide a unique platform for companies to showcase their services and offerings while fostering knowledge and expertise sharing. Additionally, Medicon Village hosts larger scale profiling events, attracting between 100 to 500 attendees from Sweden and abroad, which further contributes to the hub’s prominence in the life science arena.
