Bio-Rad joins SmiLe Venture Hub as new lab partner
We are proud to announce a new collaboration with Bio-Rad Laboratories, a leading company in developing, manufacturing, and marketing a broad range of products for life science research and clinical diagnostics. Through this partnership, Bio-Rad’s state-of-the-art QX600™ AutoDG Droplet Digital PCR System is now available to companies using SmiLe’s laboratories in Lund.
As part of SmiLe’s mission to provide a comprehensive range of services to its member companies, partnerships like this are crucial to offering cutting-edge expertise and technology on-site to innovative startups on-site at SmiLe.
The QX600™ AutoDG system delivers exceptional precision and reliability through its advanced droplet digital PCR technology. This system enables absolute quantification of nucleic acids without the need for standard curves, making it an invaluable tool for fields such as oncology research, biomarker discovery in cell and gene therapy, as well as environmental and food testing. The ddPCR method allows for exceptional precision and tolerance to PCR inhibitors, ensuring high reproducibility and sensitivity even at low concentrations.
In addition to providing the QX600™ AutoDG system, Bio-Rad will offer hands-on workshops, customized training sessions, and ongoing technical support to help researchers maximize the system’s potential for their specific applications.
