Briefing on six major 2024 life science events
In the midst of the pandemic, we decided to invest time, energy, and money in strengthening our profile and position on behalf of our members. We began by creating five set event formats and expanded our professional networks from one to four. In 2023, we organized a total of 130 events across our set event formats, professional networks, and major events tailored for special purposes, such as our annual Donation event. We consider the increasing attendance rates as evidence of profound interest in our events as platforms for networking and knowledge sharing.
By taking these steps and using events as content for our communication, we bolstered our profile as a major meeting point in Lund. Moreover, we solidified our position as the most vibrant life science hub in southern Sweden, benefiting both members of our science park and Lund as a cluster for innovation.
In 2024, we are taking the next step in strengthening our presence within the life science sector, both nationally and internationally, by initiating and participating in events that offer our members more opportunities for financing, growth, and talent attraction than ever before.
The events are:
- BioStock Global Forum on 29-30 May at Medicon Village.
- The Future of Swedish and Danish Life Science on 29 August at Medicon Village.
- Nordic Life Science Days on 17-19 September at Malmömässan, Malmö.
- BIO-Europe on 4-6 November in Stockholm.
- BioStock Summit on 19-21 November at Medicon Village.
- Career Day on 3 December (prel.) at Medicon Village.
On 13 March @ 14:00-16:00, we welcome all our members, as well as others who may benefit from these events, to a special briefing on how to utilize them as platforms for business growth. During the briefing, we will provide information on how to take advantage of both free and paid opportunities that we, together with our partners, offer.
