Busy times in our life science park
A lot is going on at Medicon Village right now. There is groundwork and final adjustments on our new lab building, which will be inaugurated in the autumn, fervent member activity on challenges as always, and event gatherings en masse.
Regarding the latter, last week we had Kry Vårdcentral Tuna and Nordic Wellness hosting an Open House, pulled off our usual Tuesday Science for Breakfast – this time featuring Micronit offering a Dutch breakfast with stroopwafel and sprinkles, welcomed a delegation from Japan Innovation Network with the aim of attracting company establishments and capital from Japan, coordinated a Science for Lunch together with a Meet & Greet with Bosch and ITK Engineering, and another Science for Lunch together with our Supporting Partner Potter Clarkson, and organized a visit by the Samuelsen Nätverk – bringing together Swedish and Danish expertise for an inspirational introduction to our science park (more information on each gathering in posts on LinkedIn).
Last but not least, we nailed our 13th Science After Work together with Potter Clarkson as host, providing a great ambiance despite the cloudy weather after two weeks of sun (click on the link for picture proof).
We thrive on these kinds of weeks, bringing together many interesting people to share valuable insights, network, and lay the foundation for valuable contacts and potential collaborations. Because that’s what our life science park is all about.
