Busy week – the village is up and running after summer holidays

Medicon Village

Last week was essentially the first truly active week in our village after the summer holidays, with the annual summit, The Future of Swedish and Danish Life Science, as the highlight, alongside a well-attended Science After Work. This was preceded by a Science for Breakfast hosted by PharmaRelations, an Executive Outlook seminar, and a Meet & Greet by IDT.

Among this week's event highlights, we have a Science for Breakfast hosted by Gedea (Tuesday), along with three professional network gatherings: Pharmacovigilance (Tuesday), RA MedTech (Wednesday), and RA Pharma (Thursday).

Fostering a dynamic community where people network, get acquainted, and share knowledge is one of our major challenges. To promote this, we created five new event formats after the pandemic and initiated four new professional networks to complement the existing one. To ensure proper attendance in both quality and quantity, we updated our communication strategy, now focusing on our weekly email newsletter (+5,700 subscribers) and daily updates on our LinkedIn channel (+12,600 followers). We strive to be the meeting point for life science in our region, helping research and business grow to promote human health and better lives, in line with the mission of the Mats Paulsson Foundation for Research, Innovation and Societal Development, which owns us.
