Executive leaders from the life science sector in Skåne gain strategic insights at exclusive seminar

More than 40 executive leaders in Skåne’s life science sector gathered for the first Executive Outlook lunch seminar hosted by Medicon Village on 24 January. Organised as a meeting platform for C-suite and management-level professionals, the event featured a presentation of preliminary findings from the upcoming Life Science Barometer report, a collaborative effort by SwedenBIO, Medicon Village, Sahlgrenska Science Park, Stockholm Science City, and STUNS Life Science. Skåne’s regional analysis effort is coordinated by Medicon Village and supported by Sparbanksstiftelsen Finn.

The seminar’s highlight was a panel discussion with industry experts Ebba Fåhraeus (CEO, SmiLe Incubator), Johan Kördel (Managing Partner, Sound Bioventures), and Jonas Söderström (CEO, BioStock), moderated by Sarah Lidé (Deputy CEO, Medicon Village Innovation). The discussion focused on the sentiments among life science CEOs and strategies to navigate the next three years amid the current economic and geopolitical climate, particularly addressing funding and talent perspectives.
