Today we caught up with Erik Berne at Restaurang Inspira for a quick chat about the final preparations for the grand opening on Monday.
So Erik Berne, manager at Inspira, why leave Grand Hotel in Lund after eleven years?
– The challenge, it’s all about the challenge! Inspira might be the largest restaurant of its kind in south of Sweden. My task is to also make it the best.
A lot of stress these final days before the grand opening?
– Well, it’s all in the details. We feel confident in what we do, but are humble in that we need time to find proper ways of dealing with all the aspects of serving great food to 700-800 hundred guests a day.
And the opening is on Monday?
– Yes, our rebuilt café is open from 8 AM and the restaurant from 11.30 AM. We’re on our toes, eager to meet a perfect storm on Monday!
