Medicon Village at BIO-Europe in Stockholm

Medicon Village

From Monday to Wednesday this week, BIO-Europe celebrated its 30th anniversary as Europe’s leading life science partnering event, with an impressive 30,000 one-to-one partnering meetings held by 5,800 delegates from 3,000 companies and organisations in Stockholm, as testament to its significance as a global meeting point for the life sciences industry. These numbers closely match those from the event in Munich a year ago, i.e. the event saw substantial growth in participant numbers from 2021 to 2023, though this growth plateaued this year.

We took part in numerous partnering meetings with companies interested in investing their expertise, resources, and energy in our community, aiming to expand their business in the Nordics. This effort aligns with our ambition to establish ourselves as an international hub of life sciences excellence, broadening the scope of our science park with support from both major players and specialised contributors.
