New SmiLe coach with lengthy career in global pharmaceutical and medtech industry

SmiLe Incubator welcomes our new coach Joakim Jehlbo to the team that supports incubator companies. He brings exceptionally broad international experience from leadership positions with global pharmaceutical and medtech companies.
With over 30 years of experience in leadership positions with companies such as Pfizer, MSD and Astra Zeneca, and eight years from work in the medtech industry with BoneSupport and others, Joakim Jehlbo has very broad experience and a large international contact network that will accelerate the development of incubator companies to the market.
For the majority of his career, Joakim Jehlbo has worked abroad in the Middle East, Japan, the UK, North Africa and Denmark. As the CEO of subsidiaries, he has been responsible for phase 3 and 4 clinical trials, launch projects and regulatory strategies, and has also been in charge of sales and marketing teams as well as contract manufacturers of pharmaceuticals. SmiLe’s incubator companies will have access to the excellent help of his contact network, advice on corporate leadership and market strategies, and support with preparations for contact with global companies.
Joakim Jehlbo is a graduate of Military Academy Karlberg, where he studied strategy and leadership. He holds a degree in business development, as well as a master’s degree in General Management (INSEAD). He has also studied psychology, sociology and clinical pharmacology.
