Fredrik has been part of the company since its earliest days and, with a background in engineering, has played a central role in building Genovis from a research-driven start-up into a globally recognised life science tools company. Over the years, he has worked across product development, manufacturing, and the commercialisation, launch and global sales of Genovis’ products, before being appointed CEO in 2015. He brings extensive experience in translating scientific innovation into scalable, customer-ready solutions and has contributed to several scientific publications and patents.
In his presentation, he will share how Genovis’ journey demonstrates that focused innovation can transform academic research into a scalable global business. The session will highlight key moments in the transition from research to market – including product focus, customer trust and strategic partnerships – and reflect on the experience of building an international presence while remaining firmly rooted in Sweden.
