Strong growth in 2025: 115 events and increasing engagement at Medicon Village

In 2025, Medicon Village Innovation hosted 115 events – including 70 signature events and 45 professional network meetings – attracting 6,734 participants from 554 companies and organisations. Of all attendees, 25% were Medicon Village members, reflecting strong internal engagement alongside broad regional and Nordic outreach.

Compared to 2024, overall attendance increased by 18%, underlining the growing demand for high-quality meeting arenas and knowledge exchange within southern Sweden’s life science sector. The momentum continues into 2026. During the first two months of the year, average attendance at Science for Breakfast increased to 107 onsite participants, compared to an average of 85 attendees during the second half of 2025.

Our four core formats – Science for Breakfast, Science for Lunch, Academy, and Science After Work – remain central platforms for collaboration. The strong growth in 2025 highlights the continued importance of physical meeting places where science, business, and innovation meet, and we look forward to building further momentum throughout 2026.
