Well-attended ”MedInnovation i Skåne 2024”

Medicon Village

Fully booked with a waiting list, Thursdays’s ’MedInnovation in Skåne 2024’ at Inspira was hosted by Medicon Village, Lif, and Region Skåne. This annual conference has become an important platform for inspiring discussions and learning sessions on how innovation and patient-centric research are shaping the future of healthcare.

Emphasizing the pivotal role of collaboration between healthcare, industry, and academia, the event showcased regional, national, and international insights on Skåne’s emergence as an innovation hub and preferred destination for investments in the pharmaceutical sector. It targets politicians, managers, researchers, healthcare professionals, patient representatives, and business representatives within the life science sector.

Following ’MedInnovation in Skåne 2024’, we concluded with our first Science After Work event of the year, featuring an interview with Britta Stenson, Head of Global Industry Network Life Science and Program Manager Life Science at Business Sweden. During the interview, topics such as the global perception of Swedish innovation, the impact of Sweden’s image on investment willingness, challenges and competition, and our international standing were discussed.
