Redoxis grand lab opening celebration

Medicon Village

Last Friday, long-time Medicon Village member Redoxis celebrated their move to a new location in the eastern part of the top floor of our recently inaugurated laboratory building.

The relocation, which began in July, provides Redoxis with the ideal platform to further expand their business and attract new talent. They aim to grow their team from 20 to 35 employees within the next few years. Being situated near other similar companies offers numerous advantages, including opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and access to shared instrumentation.

– It’s amazing to have all colleagues gathered on site in these premises. It makes daily work both more efficient and enjoyable, and will support our future growth, says Malin Hultqvist, CEO of Redoxis.

Redoxis has achieved consistent revenue growth in recent years and is a profitable company. As a CRO specialising in early preclinical drug development with a focus on inflammation and autoimmunity, their challenge lies in maintaining steady growth. This includes expanding into new markets and acquiring new clients, particularly in the US, where their business has seen steady growth over the past few years.

The new laboratory building strengthens Medicon Village’s role as the natural hub for research and entrepreneurship in life sciences in southern Sweden. It provides opportunities for existing companies like Alligator Bioscience, Cellevate, Redoxis, SARomics Biostructures, and Truly to expand while also allowing new companies to establish themselves at Medicon Village as existing members move to the new building, generating chains of relocations.
