SEK 35.5 million for skills supply in Life Science and Deep Tech in Öresund

Medicon Village

Medicon Village is one of the partners in the Cross-border Talent Bridge project, which aims to strengthen talent attraction and retention in life science and deep tech in the Öresund region. The three-year project will begin in September. The total budget is just over SEK 59 million, of which the EU program Interreg Öresund Kattegat Skagerrak has today granted crucial co-financing of SEK 35.5 million.

The goal is to strengthen small and medium-sized enterprises’ abilities to recruit international talents, market career opportunities, identify key factors for attracting and retaining talents, and work with strategic policy influence to remove barriers to cross-border talent mobility. The end result will be a long-term, cross-border talent strategy within the life science and deep tech sectors, and coordinated support for both companies and talents in the Öresund region, also known as Greater Copenhagen.

Other project partners are the Municipality of Lund through International Citizen Hub Lund, Ideon Science Park, Mobile Heights, Copenhagen Capacity, the Municipality of Copenhagen, and Medicon Valley Alliance.
