Smartfish’s innovation project has been selected to receive a grant from The Research Council of Norway

Smartfish has received a grant from The Research Council of Norway for the exciting innovation project “New nutritionally complete food for special medical purposes (FSMP) to patients with cancer cachexia”.

In this research project, Smartfish will collaborate with SINTEF, the University of Bergen, Norway, the University of Lund, Sweden and B. Braun, Melsungen, Germany in developing an emulsion technology that can be used for new FSMP products for patients with cancer who are in need of nutrition therapy.

“We are eager to start working on this highly important project and are glad to have such strong collaborating partners to do this with”, says Smartfish’s CEO Geir Harstad.
