The CanFaster triple helix programme for cancer research successfully launched its PhD programme in 2017 and the postdoctoral programme in May 2020. CanFaster aims for cross-pollination between academic, clinical and industrial settings. This will bring research findings faster to market and foster an intersectoral scientific community. Now an additional 11 million SEK grant was obtained from EU, which will support 15 postdoctoral researchers.
During the summer 2020, the call for eight postdoctoral positions is open. Postdocs will be employed by Lund University within LTH or the Medical Faculty. The tight collaboration with SUS, SmiLe incubator, Medicon Village companies, and LU Innovation will enable students and postdocs to get a broad training in entrepreneurial skills and identify needs of each individual sector.
