We have the pleasure of presenting the latest issue of Setterwalls’ Life Sciences report. The report presents our view on selected current issues with respect to life sciences.
In the newly published report, you can, among other things, read about the increasing number of collaborations between IT companies and life sciences companies and the importance of carefully considering how intellectual property rights should be distributed between the companies. We also provide information on the recently introduced guidance for the classification of medical devices, including software. In addition, we talk about the new application procedure for clinical trials, which means that those who want to start a clinical trial only need to submit one application via a common EU web portal. We also point out the importance of considering that the technical file submitted to a notified body under the MDR may contain trade secrets.
You can read about this and much more in Setterwall’s new Life Sciences Report here. We hope you find it interesting!
