The Brainpuzzle sculpture re-installed at Scheeletorget

Medicon Village

After renovation, Conny Jönsson at Medicon Village has re-installed the Brainpuzzle at Scheeletorget. The Brainpuzzle is a wooden sculpture in the shape of a human brain created by Claes Dorthé, a furniture designer and former tutor at the Department of Design Sciences at Lund University. The sculpture was donated to Medicon Village in conjunction with Lund University's 350th anniversary celebrations in 2016-2018 (the university was founded in 1666 but was inaugurated in 1668).

It can be enjoyed during the day or at night when lights illuminate the brain in a spectacular way.
