Medicon Village

In May 2023, Medicon Village was verified according to ISO 26000, making it the first science park in Sweden to validate its sustainability efforts. This serves as proof of our commitment to sustainability.

Another example is our dedication to Lund municipalitys goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2030. We are an active member of CoAction, an initiative led by the municipality that brings together 25 stakeholders, including businesses, authorities, academia, and organisations like our science park, to make a difference. Together, we focus on energy and mobility, as transport accounts for the majority of emissions in Lund, and a resilient energy system is essential to reach climate neutrality.

You can contribute to this work by answering a few questions in a survey about how you, as a member of our life science park, travel to and from work. The deadline for responses is 8 November. Link to access the survey (for Medicon Village members only): https://inn.mediconvillage.se/nyheter/travel-habits-survey-your-response-is-important/.

By participating, youll be supporting both Lund and our science park, as we will use the survey results to guide future initiatives for enhancing sustainable mobility within and around our park.
