NLSDays – profiling Medicon Village as the largest life science park in the Nordics

Medicon Village

Busy days for our team at NLSDays this week – on stage, at the stand, and in partnering meetings! The show was an energising demonstration of our ambition to promote Medicon Village and the innovation district we are part of, with our stand in a prime location featuring the tallest backdrop at the event.

The event is said to have been a success for the organisers, SwedenBIO, with around 15 % more exhibition space and attendees compared with 2024.

During the two days at this premier venue for doing business with Nordic life science companies, we held 30 formal partnering meetings, along with several informal meetings with attendees visiting our stand. We also took part in the conference programme as panellists, attended evening receptions, and networked extensively throughout the event.

To promote not only our life science park but also its members, we listed all Medicon Village member companies on the tallest backdrop at the show – a striking feature that dominated our stand and showcased our community at this leading Nordic life science meeting.

Our NLSDays participation was a true team effort, with the following Medicon Village staff attending the show (while Nils Hwasser stayed at home to manage our NLSDays live streaming from the event to around 70 attendees at our Science for Breakfast session in The Spark on Tuesday): Dimitra Manou, Marjana Andersson, Francesco Bez, Helen Greve, Lottie Olsson Norrsén, Petter Magnusson Hartman, Mikael Lagerwall, and Sarah Lidé.

We now move on to follow up on all meetings and prepare for our next major partnering event – BIO-Europe in Vienna, 3-5 November.
