Stiff after another day chained to your computer?

Kod&Knåd

Neck feeling tight?

Shoulders slowly moving towards your ears?

Or does your lower back complain when you finally get out of the chair?

Before blaming your age, your chair or your body – yes, I know you want to

, try three very simple things:

1. Change position more often

There is probably no perfect sitting position. The best position is often the next one. Get up, move around, high-five a colleague and give your body some variation. Yeah!

2. Move what feels stiff

A couple of minutes of shoulder circles, rotations, reaching and bending can make a surprising difference. Every movement counts! Try this workout from Darabee sometime during the day:

(there are loads of other workouts at darebee.com if you need inspiration)

3. Don’t wait until it really hurts

Stiffness and tension are often easier to deal with before they have become a major problem. Stiffness or pain is your body’s way of trying to tell you something, so listen. And let me know if I can help with some manual therapy or good advice

Take care
