About the position
Camurus is recruiting its first global trainee within Business Development to our headquarters in Lund. This is an 18‑month, full‑time position for a recent graduate who want to start their career in the pharmaceutical industry and grow within an international, research‑driven company. The ambition is for the trainee to transition into a permanent role within the organization after a successful trainee period.

This trainee position is designed to provide a solid foundation in how Camurus operates as one of Sweden’s fastest growing pharmaceutical companies, while allowing you to work on projects and analyses that support our growth and strategic priorities.

The position is based at Camurus’ headquarters in Lund, Sweden, with at least one international rotation included in the program.

Your time as trainee will consist of several phases and rotations:

Onboarding at headquarters in Lund, including introduction to our company, compliance training, and meetings with key stakeholders
Core position within Business Development, working with business case preparations for new opportunities, competitive intelligence, partnerships, and strategic planning in close collaboration with senior management, gaining insight into both strategic and operational aspects of a global pharmaceutical company.
Cross-functional exposure to areas such as Finance, Market Access, and Technical Operations, to build a holistic understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain
International rotation in at least one of Camurus’ strategic markets, focusing on local market dynamics and commercial activities

Your profile
We are looking for a Master’s student graduating in spring/summer 2026, or someone who has graduated within the past year, and who has a strong interest in the pharmaceutical industry.

You have a degree in either Industrial Economics or Master’s in economics/business in combination with science (e.g. courses or dual degree).

Fluency in English, written and spoken, is required.
