The name refers to Elisabeth Blackburn, who in 2009 was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine together with Carol Greider and Jack Szo-stak for the discovery of how chromosomes are protected by telomeres and the enzyme telomerase. The venue was previously called Olympia. ELISABETH is sometimes used for lunch service, whereby some crosstalk may occur.

  • Seating Style
    Standard u-table seating for 12 people. If other furniture is desired, this should be communicated well in advance of arrival. Can also be obtained as school seating 12 p or cinema seating 24 p.
  • Location
    The conference room is located in the Inspira building on the first floor (above the major dining area).
  • Refreshments
    Preordered refreschments will be placed outside the conference room at the agreed time of your choice.
  • Equipment
    Projector, Barco ClickShare (wireless image transfer between computer and projector). Speaker. Wifi. White board. Eduroam access. You must bring your own computer.
