SUTURION is a Swedish startup company focusing in developing and commercializing a suture tool to reduce time for abdominal wall closure and to support surgeons in improved suture technique to reduce risk for abdominal herniation. The ambition is to establish a new standard of care to help patients, doctors and healthcare systems with an improved experience of abdominal wall closure. Med Dr. Gabriel Börner has since 2013 assessed and developed a specific suturing tool to address these issues. With surgeons as well as patients in mind this suture-TOOL is aimed for a global market, to reduce OR time and reduce risk of complications. With a strong partners SUTURION is striving to become a player in the wound closure industry.
