SKÅNESTOR moves to larger premises for the third time
SKÅNESTOR has been based in The Spark at Medicon Village since it was founded in 2022. The company provides specialist staffing and recruitment services in Skåne for life science, food and other regulated industries. Its journey at Medicon Village began with a flexible desk, followed a year later by a small office in our cowork space and, in 2024, larger premises on the ground floor.
With more clients and a broader range of services, the company now employs 21 people, having grown every year since its launch. It is therefore moving once again, this time to premises around four times the size of its previous space, on the top floor of The Spark, with stunning views across the innovation cluster it calls home.
– We have outgrown our premises again and felt it was time for the next step. The new space suits us better and gives us more room to work, meet and spend time together. Relationships matter to us, both with our clients and with one another, and we look forward to having an environment where we can gather more often and welcome clients and partners, says Maria Gren, founder and CEO.
For Maria Gren, being able to grow while remaining at Medicon Village has been valuable:
– They have been flexible and able to meet our needs as we have developed. Being right at the heart of the life science cluster, close to many of the companies and people we work with, is also strategically important to us. But growth is about more than numbers. At its heart, a consultancy is about its people, and we place great emphasis on both expertise and personality when recruiting. Having attractive premises has helped us recruit many fantastic people who contribute to the culture and sense of community we want at SKÅNESTOR.
The future looks bright for SKÅNESTOR, a sentiment reflected in the lively atmosphere at the opening of its new premises on Thursday:
– We want to keep developing and growing, but at a pace that allows us to preserve what matters to us. SKÅNESTOR should remain a company with a personal touch, where we know one another, have close relationships with our clients and enjoy coming to work. The new premises will play an important part in that. We like getting together without making things too elaborate, whether for a pea soup lunch, a networking reception or a catch-up over mulled wine. For us, that is often how good relationships are built.
We wish Maria and the team at SKÅNESTOR every success for the future.
