Working together to unlock Lund’s innovation potential

Business leaders and representatives from the City of Lund and Lund University gathered last Wednesday to discuss how to strengthen Lund’s position as an international innovation hub and unlock the full potential of Lund Innovation District.

The discussions focused on how to foster closer collaboration between academia and industry, accelerate the translation of research into innovative products and services, and develop the innovation environments of the future.

The meeting was part of a series of workshops organised by the City of Lund and Lund University to strengthen the city’s innovation ecosystem, business community and international competitiveness.

Medicon Village took part in the discussions, contributing its perspective as a hub for life science research, innovation and collaboration. The organisation looks forward to continuing the work alongside its partners and member companies to help build an even stronger, more connected and internationally competitive Lund Innovation District.

By bringing together key stakeholders from academia, business and the public sector, the initiative aims to strengthen collaboration and create the conditions for research and innovation to translate into new opportunities for society and industry.
