Alla vill bygga communities, färre pratar om vem som ska hålla dem vid liv
On Thursday 25 June, we will take part in Skånes Innovationsarena in a large tent at Hamnplan, in a unique collaboration with AMYNA, Biotech Heights, Ideon Science Park, Lunds kommun, Malmö University, Medeon Science Park, Medicon Village, Region Skåne and Science Village Scandinavia.
At 16:00-17:00, there will be a seminar in Swedish on "Alla vill bygga communities, färre pratar om vem som ska hålla dem vid liv", hosted by Ideon Science Park. What makes a community truly work? Why do some networks become powerful ecosystems, while others remain little more than meetings?
Some communities create real value. Others never become more than gatherings. Project results can evolve into living resources – but this does not happen automatically.
Welcome to a fireside conversation on trust, shared resources, and the often invisible art of motivating people to continue contributing over time. Many promising collaborations and effective partnerships fade away once a project ends. What can we do about that? How do we build something that continues to live and grow?
The discussion will explore what is required to build communities, shared knowledge, and innovation environments that genuinely endure.

Skånes Innovationsarena is a joint effort by the prominent companies and organisations involved, as a continuation of the former Öresundshuset, with the aim of raising awareness of all the fantastic things happening in our part of the country while showcasing the power of collaboration between academia, industry and the public sector.
During Almedalsveckan 2026 Medicon Village also organise Life Science-dagen on Wednesday 24 June.
