Nordic Mentor Network for Entrepreneurship (NOME)
To promote research, innovation, and business development within the life science field, Medicon Village initiates, drives, and engages in initiatives and collaborations with partners, as prerequisites for growth and added value.
NOME is an esteemed mentoring program that started in the Nordics but has expanded to being a northern European program designed for promising life science startups, guided by the ambition to elevate life science startups into internationally acclaimed commercial successes. This is achieved by pairing selected startups with exceptionally skilled volunteers who help them attain their strategic business goals to be a player on the international market.
NOME holds four intake periods annually: February, May, October and December with an additional intake during the annual meeting competition in November.
Launched in early 2016 and funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, NOME has been making significant strides in nurturing innovation and growth within the life science sector.
