How can the life science community in southern Sweden benefit from your membership at Medicon Village?
By being present at Medicon Village, Fredersen can work closely and proactively with life science companies at all stages of development, from early-stage start-ups to more established, regulated businesses. We provide legal advice on, among other things, M&A, capital markets, intellectual property rights, licensing, commercial agreements and dispute resolution that are central to the life science sector. Through close collaboration within the Medicon Village ecosystem, we aim to act as a long-term legal partner, supporting growth and innovation while helping members navigate increasingly complex legal frameworks.
What are your major challenges in the coming year to meet market demands and trends?
One of our key challenges is the effective integration of technology and AI into legal advisory work. AI offers significant opportunities to streamline routine tasks such as document review and analysis but must be implemented in a way that preserves legal quality and accuracy. Equally important is maintaining the personal trust and close client relationships that are central to legal advice. Our focus is therefore on using AI as a supportive tool, enhancing efficiency and insight, while ensuring that critical legal assessments, strategic advice and client interaction remain firmly driven by experienced lawyers.

We help life science companies manage legal complexity by providing clear, practical and business-oriented legal advice that is closely aligned with their operational and strategic needs. By translating complex legal, corporate and capital markets requirements into actual guidance, we enable our clients to make informed decisions.
