Exciting improvements underway at Inspira to enhance your event experience
This summer, we are investing in a series of upgrades to the event facilities at Inspira, creating an even more welcoming, accessible and inspiring environment for meetings, conferences and events.
The refurbishment includes an improved entrance area with enhanced accessibility, a refreshed foyer featuring new surface materials designed to improve acoustics and wellbeing, as well as upgraded lighting and new furnishings to create a warmer and more inviting atmosphere.
We are also upgrading parts of the ventilation system and making adjustments to the area outside the Auditorium to improve visitor flow, functionality and the overall event experience.
To enable these improvements, the conference facilities at Inspira – including conference rooms, mingling areas and connecting corridors from conference room Bengt to the Auditorium – will be closed from 22 June. During the renovation period, two entrances will also be temporarily closed. Visitors to Inspira are kindly asked to use the main entrance facing Scheeletorget.
Despite the temporary closure of these areas, there will still be plenty of opportunities to host meetings, conferences and events at Medicon Village. A variety of conference rooms and event spaces remain available in both Inspira and The Spark throughout the renovation period. Please, contact meetingpoint@mediconvillage.se for available options.
The upgraded facilities are expected to reopen in September, offering an even better setting for meetings, conferences and events.
Restaurant & Café Inspira
Restaurant Inspira will also undergo a number of behind-the-scenes improvements this summer, including upgrades to freezers, refrigeration units and related technical systems.
As a result, Restaurant & Café Inspira will be closed from 13 July to 16 August (weeks 29–33). During week 33 (10–14 August), lunch will instead be served at Bistro Merge in The Spark building.
