Cellevate hosts Global Webinar presenting latest data and process economy savings in viral vector production with Cellevat3d® nanofiber microcarriers – April 1, 2025 at 17:00 CET

LUND, Sweden, March 17, 2025 – Following the interest since the launch of the world’s first nanofiber-based cell culture systems at the end of 2024, Cellevate is pleased to announce a 2nd webinar on the productivity increases and resulting cost reductions based on a process economy model for large-scale gene therapy production. Held in collaboration with Cell & Gene Therapy Insights, the webinar will present the latest data comparing Cellevat3d® nanofiber products with traditional bead-based microcarriers. The model outlines the potential of Cellevat3d® nanofiber microcarriers to lower gene therapy production costs by up to 70% per dose by providing greater than 90% transfection efficiencies, 3x higher viral vector titer yields, fast and easy scale up and enzyme free passaging.

Presenting the data in the webinar will be Dr. Christel Fenge (Chief Technology Officer, Cellevate), Geddy Hamblen (Application Manager, Cellevate), and Rob Noel (Commercialization Consultant, 55Biomarkets).

Webinar Title: Cost reduction of viral vector processes using 3D nanofiber-based cell culture systems in upstream bioprocessing

Date: Tuesday, April 1, 2025
