Cutting-edge research supported by Mats Paulsson Foundations

In connection with the official announcement of the 2024 donation recipients by the Mats Paulsson Foundation for Research, Innovation and Societal Development, Medicon Village invites you to join us in exploring the achievements of previous grant recipients from Mats Paulsson Foundations.
L2Cancer Bridge, a collaborative research programme with Swiss Cancer Center and CREATE Health focused on identifying novel immuno-oncology targets for cancer therapy
The recent breakthrough of immunotherapy has revolutionised cancer care with unprecedented efficacy in select malignancies, including lung cancer and melanoma. Nevertheless, only a minority of cancer patients respond to the treatment, and predictive biomarkers are few. The L2Cancer Bridge leverages the cutting-edge expertise at Lund University and University of Lausanne in target discovery, antibody technology and clinical translation to develop novel immuno-oncology therapies.
Three takeaways:
- A fundamental understanding of tumor architecture and its influence on malignant properties.
- Knowledge about the underlying mechanisms of targeting the immune system in cancer care.
- Information about the unique strategies of the L2Cancer bridge to develop novel therapies for immuno-oncology.
