“Life Science-dagen” at Almedalsveckan 2026

With 42,000 attendees and 2,400 events in 2025, Almedalsveckan in Visby is Sweden’s leading forum for public debate and opinion. Although several life science companies and organisations take part – and despite life science being Sweden’s second-largest export industry – a unified forum or dedicated life science day has so far been missing.

Highlighting life science as a major industrial force

As the largest life science park in the Nordics, Medicon Village will on Wednesday, 24 June, host Life Science-dagen (in Swedish) in a large premium tent at a prime location on Hamnplan, highlighting the significance of life science as a major industrial force in Sweden.

The day will take place in our premium tent accommodating 100 guests, located in a prime position at Hamnplan (in the curve). The location allows the entire tent to function as a large visual showcase with excellent visibility, decorated with messages linked to the day and our partners.

This initiative is a joint effort by the prominent companies and organisations involved, with us taking full responsibility for the entire arena through staff from our meeting place in Lund, drawing on our experience from the more than 100 Signature events we organise at Medicon Village every year.
