Medicon Village explored trends and collaborations at Vitalis 2026

Medicon Village

After three intensive days at Vitalis 2026, the Medicon Village team returned with new insights, strengthened relationships and valuable discussions on the future of digital health and healthcare innovation.

Held annually at Svenska Mässan, Vitalis has established itself as one of the Nordic region’s leading meeting places for health, healthcare and social care innovation. This year’s 24th edition was expected to attract more than 6,500 participants and featured 700 speakers delivering 200 hours of content across 450 conference sessions.

Throughout the event, Medicon Village met with existing partners, including AstraZeneca (pictured), while also exploring opportunities for new collaborations and identifying emerging trends shaping the sector.

A strong focus of this year’s congress was the rapid development within e-health, welfare technology, AI and data-driven healthcare solutions. Among the approximately 200 exhibitors were both startups presenting early-stage prototypes and established organisations showcasing mature technologies already making an impact in healthcare.

The event highlighted how digital transformation continues to reshape health and care at a rapid pace, bringing together innovators, researchers, healthcare providers and industry representatives on a shared arena for dialogue, collaboration and future-oriented solutions.
