Open life science positions in Skåne promoted for free
Every Friday, we publish all job vacancies posted on our website on LinkedIn (+16,000 followers). Additionally, information about these vacancies is shared in our Monday newsletter (with over 6,800 subscribers).
We do this as part of our Talent Attraction Programme, where we offer both Medicon Village members and other companies and organisations the opportunity to post open life science positions in Skåne free of charge.
But that is only one of our efforts in this area. At Medicon Village, we are committed to supporting our member companies and collaborative partners throughout their development journey. Central to our mission are initiatives focused on attracting top talent and retaining it within our ecosystem.
We recognise the vital role that talent plays in driving innovation and growth, and we are dedicated to fostering an environment where individuals can thrive and contribute to the advancement of life sciences. To this end, we implement a range of tailored initiatives to support talent development.
Competency Networks Addressing Industry Shortages
Together with several of our member companies, Medicon Village facilitates networks focused on critical competencies within the industry. These networks provide a platform for experienced professionals to mentor younger colleagues, encouraging knowledge exchange and career progression. Our active professional networks include the Pharmacovigilance Network, Medical Writing Network, Quality Assurance Network, and Regulatory Affairs Network. Medicon Village Career Day
Each year, Medicon Village hosts a Career Day for early-career researchers, in collaboration with Lund University and other partners. This event aims to inspire researchers to pursue careers in the life science industry and to facilitate connections between jobseekers and regional companies. Investing in Education and Skills Development
Over the past year, Medicon Village has taken the lead in initiatives to strengthen vocational training and skill development. In collaboration with Komvux Malmö, the South Swedish Chamber of Commerce, Medeon, and industry partners, we have developed a comprehensive vocational training programme for operators in the life sciences.
We have also launched an accelerator programme with SmiLe Venture Hub to support startup growth and are proud partners in the elite Nordic Mentor Network for Entrepreneurship (NOME) programme. For more information on this, please visit this page.

Medicon Village actively participates in regional, national, and international forums to advocate for issues relating to talent supply and recruitment.
