Priya Mann – new intern at Medicon Village Innovation

We are pleased to welcome Priya Mann, an exchange student from the University of Toronto’s Rotman Commerce programme, as intern at Medicon Village Innovation for a couple of months this spring.

She is currently studying at LUSEM at Lund University as part of a pilot semester that combines academic study with hands-on experience in Sweden’s innovation ecosystem.

– This internship stood out to me for its ability to bring together research, start-ups and industry within a highly integrated life science cluster. What I find particularly interesting is how Medicon Village goes beyond infrastructure to create an environment where collaboration, credibility and access to networks actively shape company outcomes, says Priya.

– I hope to contribute by bringing a perspective to Medicon Village that combines structured business thinking with an understanding of start-up development, while also adding an international lens on how innovation ecosystems operate and how organisations position themselves and capture value within them.

For us, bringing in fresh and international perspectives on what we do – and how we can improve – comes naturally, as we are part of a truly international innovation district.
