SmiLe welcomes Magnhild Owman as the new People & Culture coach

SmiLe Venture Hub strengthens its support to startups by welcoming Magnhild Owman as the new People & Culture coach. With over 20 years of experience in recruitment and organizational development, she will support SmiLe’s companies in leadership, corporate culture, and recruitment strategy matters. 

Magnhild Owman has a solid background in recruitment and organizational development. In recent years, she has worked as a consultant, supporting tech companies with the executive teams, implementing recruitment strategies, and providing support and training for recruiting managers. 

Among her previous experiences, she held roles at the technology company Qlik, where she was responsible for the global onboarding program during a period of rapid growth – from a few hundred to several thousand employees worldwide – and worked as an HR Business Partner. She also served as Director of Employment Experience at Web Manuals, where she built the company’s HR strategy and leadership development. 

At SmiLe Venture Hub, Magnhild Owman will support SmiLe and the SmiLe companies in all personnel and organizational-related matters. She is particularly passionate about helping small company management teams strategically work with corporate culture and values as the company grows. Creating a strong culture shared by teams, investors, and partners is crucial for attracting and retaining talent.
