Thomas Areschoug new business coach at SmiLe

The SmiLe Incubator is delighted to welcome Thomas Areschoug as new business development coach. He brings extensive experience from the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, as well as from various positions at Invest in Sweden and Business Sweden, adding additional experience of international life science industry to the team.

Thomas Areschoug has extensive experience in business development and investment promotion in the life science sector, as well as in biomedical research and development. He has worked as CBO at Xintela, one of SmiLe’s alumni companies, and its subsidiary Targinta, and has held various positions focusing on investment promotion in life sciences at Invest in Skåne and Business Sweden. Thomas is a molecular biologist and received his doctorate in medical microbiology at Lund University in 2002. He continued his successful research career in England and in Lund before switching focus to business development.
