Visit Medicon Village

ROAD WORKS: Tunavägen beneath the E22 motorway will be closed from 17 November until the end of 2026 while the Swedish Transport Administration builds a new bridge. The project is part of the E22 expansion, adding new access and exit ramps to handle future traffic flows. Motor traffic will be diverted via Scheelevägen, Ideongatan, Sångarevägen and Spelmansvägen (marked in red on the map). Pedestrians and cyclists will also face diversions, including the closure of the path east of the E22. In addition, the entrance to Scheeletorget has been temporarily moved northwards along Scheelevägen to enable construction of a new apartment building. Visitors are advised to follow the orange diversion signs and allow extra time to reach the science park.

By tram

From Lund C (Clemenstorget) the journey to Ideontorget takes 7 minutes by tram. The walking distance from Ideontorget to Inspira is 700 m. Search for "Scheeletorget 1" in the time table at: www.skanetrafiken.se!

By bus

Several bus lines, both regional and city busses, stop within a 5-minute walking distance from Medicon Village. Search for "Scheeletorget 1" in the time table at: www.skanetrafiken.se!

By taxi

If you choose to take a taxi, the journey from Lund C takes about 10 minutes. Please specify that you want to go to Scheeletorget 1, where The Spark (main reception) and Inspira (main conference area) are located.

By car

We are located in northern Lund, right next to the E22 highway. If you write Scheeletorget/Lund into your GPS, it will guide you to Scheeletorget and The Spark building, which houses our main reception, as well as the Inspira building where Meeting Point (our conference center) is located.

Behind Inspira, you'll discover the 'Fjärilen' parking garage situated along the E22 freeway. The garage is offering 600 spaces, including 60 with charging posts (3.7-7.4 kW, Type 2) and 15 designated for disabled access. Parking tickets in the parking garage are purchased according to the operator LKP’s instructions posted in the garage. In direct connection to Inspira, a smaller number of fee-based outdoor parking spaces with a time limit of 2 hours are offered.

Additionally offered outdoor parking spaces are available in the northern part of Medicon Village. P-tickets for these are purchased in your mobile via Parkster’s SMS service or app (iPhone and Android), alternatively directly from the ticket machine. If the SMS service is used, the social security number is entered at the first purchase to create an account with Parkster. If you use the app, you register directly in connection with the first purchase of a parking ticket or via Parkster’s website. More information at https://www.parkster.com/se/for-drivers/sms/.
