Executive Outlook: Resilience, recovery and risk – What global geopolitics mean for Swedish life science
Interest rate cuts are paving the way for a global recovery, but uncertainty remains high — driven by geopolitical tensions, a shifting political landscape in Europe, and the potential implications of a Trump return to the White House.
At this exclusive dinner for C-suite leaders in the life science sector in Skåne, Annika Winsth, Chief Economist at Nordea Sweden, will share key insights from Nordea’s latest Economic Outlook report. She will explore how global and regional economic developments — particularly recent geopolitical shifts — are shaping the macroeconomic landscape and what this means for Sweden’s knowledge-intensive and innovation-driven life science industry.
Three takeaways
- The impact of recent global geopolitical developments on Sweden
- An updated economic outlook for Sweden, with insights into labour market trends and household consumption
- Implications for the life science industry, with reflections on opportunities and challenges ahead
