SEMINAR 1: Why should an organization hire international talent?
- Date: Friday 11 April
- Time: 09.30 – 12.00 (Two-hour seminar with 30 minutes mingle)
- Venue: Ideon Science Park
How can our company or organization attract specific expertise and retain the talent?
- Discuss the need for competence and the value international employees offer an organization.
- Discuss strategies for both attraction and retention within the areas of Tech, Deep tech and Life Science

SEMINAR 2: The challenges of hiring international talent
- Date: Wednesday 23 April
- Time: 13:00-14:30
- Venue: Online seminar
What is essential to know when recruiting international expertise within EU and outside the EU? What kind of support exists to facilitate the recruitment?
This seminar will cover areas such as the immigration process, relocation, recruitment planning, and extensions of residence and work permits. This seminar targets Hiring Managers, HR, and personnel responsible for recruiting.

SEMINAR 3: Inclusive Talent Management
- Date: Monday 5 May
- Time: 13:00-15:30 (Two-hour seminar with 30 minutes mingle)
- Venue: Medicon Village
This seminar will look at the factors that are important in attracting international expertise, e.g., how language and culture play a part in attracting and onboarding internationals. Touching on the value of international expertise from a cultural perspective. How an organization can integrate international expertise and get the most out of their cultural competence.

The event is part of the Cross-border Talent Bridge project, an EU Interreg Öresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak-funded initiative aimed at strengthening talent attraction and retention in life sciences and deep tech in the Öresund region. The main partners in the project are the Municipality of Lund, Ideon Science Park, Medicon Village, Mobile Heights, Copenhagen Capacity, the Municipality of Copenhagen, and Medicon Valley Alliance.
