Publication in The Journal of Headache and Pain strengthens the potential of PN6047 in migraine and headache disorders
PharmNovo is pleased to announce that new preclinical research on PN6047 has been published in The Journal of Headache and Pain, adding to the growing body of scientific evidence supporting the potential of PN6047 beyond neuropathic pain.
The article, “PN6047 demonstrates preclinical efficacy in headache models as a novel delta-opioid receptor agonist,” reports efficacy across several validated preclinical headache models. The research was conducted in collaboration with Professor Amynah Pradhan and her team at Washington University School of Medicine.
The findings were first announced by PharmNovo in June 2026 and provide further insight into the potential of the unique pharmacological profile of PN6047 across additional indications. Publication in a peer-reviewed scientific journal provides further visibility and validation of these findings and supports the continued scientific evaluation of the broader therapeutic potential of PN6047.
