Medicon Village

Visit Medicon Village by car

Medicon Village is the largest life science park in Scandinavia. It is made up by more than 20 buildings containing offices, laboratories, restaurants, conference venues and other utility services. The science park is hosting more than 180 companies and organisations and their 2.800 employees.

Getting here by car

Medicon Village is located in northern Lund, right next to the E22 motorway. If you enter “Scheeletorget, Lund” into your GPS, it will guide you to Scheeletorget and the The Spark building, which houses our main reception, as well as the Inspira building, where Meeting Point (our conference centre) is located.

Multi-storey car park

East of the Inspira building, at Nytänkargatan 6, you will find the Fjärilen multi-storey car park. The Fjärilen car park offers 600 spaces, including 60 with charging points (3.7–7.4 kW, Type 2) and 15 designated for disabled access. Parking tickets in the car park are purchased in accordance with the operator LKP’s instructions posted on site. More information is available at:

Outdoor parking

In the central areas of Medicon Village, in direct connection to the Inspira and The Spark buildings, a limited number of fee-based outdoor parking spaces with a two-hour time limit are available.

Additional outdoor parking spaces are available throughout the Medicon Village area. Parking tickets for these spaces can be purchased via your mobile phone using Parkster’s SMS service or app (iPhone and Android), or directly from the ticket machine. If the SMS service is used, your personal identity number is entered at the first purchase to create a Parkster account. If you use the app, you can register in connection with your first parking purchase or via Parkster’s website. More information is available at:

Arrive by taxi/cab

If you choose to take a taxi, the journey from Lund C takes about 10 minutes. Please specify that you wish to go to Scheeletorget 1, where The Spark (main reception) and Inspira (main conference area) are located.
