Five Medicon Village companies took part in international NOME Investor Day
Five life science companies from Medicon Village took part in the NOME Investor Day in Malmö on 24 September. The event brought together life science companies from across Europe with investors from ten European countries for a day of pre-arranged one-to-one meetings.
The NOME Investor Day provided participating companies with an opportunity to meet investors directly, present their businesses and explore potential investment opportunities. The event attracted investors and NOME companies from across Europe, creating an international setting for new connections and potential investment opportunities. Medicon Village was well represented by the following member companies Colzyx, Gedea Biotech, Reccan, Strike Pharma and Suturion.
Connecting life science companies with investors
The event followed just one week after Medicon Village hosted the 2026 Medicon Village Investor Panel (MVIP), which brought together eight life science companies from the Medicon Village community with investors from Sweden, the Nordic countries, Europe and the United States.
Both initiatives form part of Medicon Village’s broader efforts to help life science companies build relationships with investors and access the capital, expertise and networks they need to develop and scale. While MVIP gives companies the opportunity to present to an experienced investor panel and receive feedback, NOME Investor Day focuses on individual, targeted meetings between companies and investors.
The international dimension is an important part of both initiatives. MVIP 2026 brought together investors from the Nordic countries, Europe and the United States, while NOME Investor Day connected companies and investors from across Europe.

Through its own investor initiatives and its engagement in networks such as NOME, Medicon Village continues to create opportunities for companies in southern Sweden to connect with investors and partners beyond the region.
